About
It appears that nearly every consumer over the age of thirteen will have their own always-connected multimedia-capable mobile device that’s capable of wirelessly receiving content.A major differences between wireline broadband in the home and mobile broadband is that mobile devices are personal. Content that is delivered to a mobile device is delivered to an individual, not to a household.Another major difference is that mobile media can be viewed anywhere, not just anytime.
The next five years will see the entertainment industry delivering content to always-on portable devices that most consumers are expected to have at all times in their pocket or purse. That will open a new era for what’s called mobile media. Some predict that the hours spent viewing content on mobile devices may exceed what’s viewed over broadband or even on traditional TV sets.
MobileInternetReporter.com will be there to cover it all.
