South Korea to Have 95% Mobile Penetration by 2010

Research and Markets predicts in its “1Q08 Mobile Forecast: South Korea, 2007 - 2010″ report that the level of wireless phone penetration in South Korea will increase from 88.5% in 2007 to 94.7% in 2010. The number of total subscribers will increase from a projected 43.3 million in 2007 to 46.9 million in 2010, below the company’s previous forecast of 47.3 million subscribers in 2010. Companies covered include: SK Telecom, KTF and LG Telecom.
