NetStreams, providers of IP network entertainment systems has
secured $18.2 million in series B funding from Austin Ventures.
Enforta, Bessemer Venture
Russian WiMAX operator Enforta announced $40 million gained in this
round of investment. One of the new investors is Bessemer Venture
Partners, one of America’s largest venture capital funds.
Broadband Enterprises, Velocity Interactive
Online video network Broadband Enterprises got some velocity
recently, picking up $10 million from Velocity Interactive Group, an
investment firm that focuses on digital media and communications.
Kadoink, Sutter Hill Ventures
Kadoink, a web telephone and SMS service for social media, has
picked up $7 million in financing from Sutter Hill Ventures.
Evolve IP
Evolve IP raised $15.6 million in equity financing this round. This
financing represents the largest early stage telecommunications and
IT investment in the Philadelphia region in the past seven years,
according to the MoneyTree Report.
JAB Wireless, Hercules Technology
Hercules Technology Growth Capital, a company that provides monetary
backing to budding technology companies, gave $15 million in buyout
financing to JAB Wireless, a parent company to small VoIP and
Internet services.
Conduit, Benchmark Capital
Conduit, an online company offering community toolbars, received $8
million from Benchmark Capital.
Mercent, TVC Capital
Mercent, provider of online marketing technology and services, has
raised $6.5 million in Series B financing led by TVC Capital.
Wimba, ABS Ventures
Wimba, an education technology company, has announced it secured
additional funds from ABS Ventures, bringing new Series B
investments up to $10 million.
